The WBC children's ministry is co-ordinated by Joe Hobday and includes Sunday groups for all ages, including KFC (Kids for Christ) - a vibrant kids club.

Schools are welcome to visit the church. Your visit can be based around various themes including:- Church ~ the Building and the People - Rites of passage ~ Dedication, Baptism, Weddings and Funerals
- Worship
- Signs and Symbols
- Church and Community
To book a visit, please contact Sue Sparks via the church office. Then Julia Mockett, our children’s worker or Joe Hobday our youth pastor will then contact you to plan your visit.

KFC
KFC (Kids for Christ) is a rocking, fast action, Multimedia Christian Kids Club for 5 ~ 11yrs old. We have action songs, quizzes, bible stories, wild games, gunge, rumble, true life stories, cooking, craft, sport, prayer line, drama, café zone, team challenges, dancing, face painting, parachute games, board games, computer games, basket ball, dance mat, tuck shop and a whole lot more. Every Friday evening from 5:30pm - 7:00pm during school terms.

Need a break? Come for a coffee and a chat while your child plays. We have a large range of toys including play dough, duplo, play farm, jigsaws, trampoline, soft play, happy street, dressing up clothes, dolls house, garage, work bench and lots more. We also arrange a story & song time and painting & craft activities for you to do with your child. This will help your child get ready for nursery school or playgroup.

Girl's Brigade Girls' Brigade is a Uniformed Club for girls 5 ~18yrs old.
It is a great organisation that cares about girls and young women. It is run by Christian leaders who believe you are important to God, and that God has a lot to offer young people TODAY. Read more in the Girl's Brigade section.

Kids on the Wey Our Sunday morning Children’s Ministry Every Sunday Sunday 10 ~11:30am 10:00am children meet with their families for a time of praise with the whole church - 10:15am children go to their own special age related groups
Tot’s Church Ripples is a crèche for 0~2 yr olds
Bubbles is for 2~5 yr olds
Kid’s Church Splash is for 5~7 yr olds
Xstream for 7~ 11 yr olds

Through “Kids on the Wey” we aim to:~
• Investigate God’s word
• Imitate Jesus and be…….
• Inspired by the Holy Spirit
We try to achieve this through many age related activities including :- Bible stories, children’s worship, quizzes, drama, craft, role play, prayer activities, life application discussions and learning through play. We believe that children are the church of today. God has made each child special and we hope to nurture each child’s gift in order to help others. We want to help them grow close to God and discover his plan for their lives. If a child wants to attend Kids on the Wey on their own they need to arrive at the Church at 10:15 am and be collected by 11:30 am approximately. Each child attending needs their parent to complete a registration form.

Child Protection
As a church we take child protection very seriously. We have a stringent child protection policy and all our children’s workers are C.R.B. checked. There is a first aider present at all activities.
